Trial Introductory Flight (TIF)

Adelaide Soaring Club invites you to discover the world of Light Sport Aircraft (LSA). A TIF is more than a scenic flight; it is your first hands-on lesson in a late-model Jabiru aircraft. Under the guidance of our qualified instructors, you will be encouraged to handle the controls and experience the responsiveness of these Australian-made trainers.

Flight Options:

• 30 Minutes ($140): Perfect for getting a feel for the aircraft over Gawler.
• 60 Minutes ($250): An immersive experience covering the Barossa Valley.

The Pathway to Piloting LSA is the most cost-effective way to enter powered flight. Your TIF can be credited toward your training for a Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC). We also offer training in modern 2-seat gliders for those interested in powerless flight.

Note: There is a weight restriction of 110 kg and it is uncomfortable if you are over 193cm (6ft 4 inches).
